We set ours up that way you said and no matter what mic level we use it echos realy bad. Do you know how to fix that? My boyfriend is trying to set this up and having a fit because he cant use the headset that way with the echo. Please help!!

I don’t think so. The PS3 doesn’t allow sound output via USB.
